Obstetrical Care

Dr. Becker provides complete obstetrical care for both routine and complicated pregnancies.  You can be assured that you and your family to be will receive the most up to date services that are available anywhere.  Dr. Becker is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

We believe that prenatal care begins before you embark on pregnancy.  It’s always a good idea to visit Dr. Becker before you become pregnant.  We can map out a carefully planned course for your up coming event.

Our Clinic can treat most pregnancy complications including diabetes, high blood pressure, twins, thyroid disorders, incompetent cervix, intrauterine fetal growth abnormalities and more.  If we feel that you will require more care than we can provide at our clinic we will refer you appropriately.

We employ state of the art techniques including ultrasound, NST’s, fetal biophysical profiles and TLC.  By the way, we now have a 3-D ultrasound available to you.  This is the only genuine 3-D ultrasound machine in Huron, SD.

You will be able to discuss and implement most requests that you may have.  You may also obtain epidural anesthesia for your labor if you so desire.  Our goal and motto is a “healthy mother and a healthy baby”.  Nutritional counseling can be obtained through our clinic.  Of course, your family is always welcome at any time.

We do not believe in, nor will we perform abortions.  You will need to seek care somewhere else if that is your desire.
